Created to be Blessed

Genesis 1:27-28 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. God blessed them… Why do this – I am a descendant of human trafficking. Unbelievably, more men, women, and children are enslaved today than any time during the transatlantic slave trade. While enslaved, personal identity is destroyed and twisted as that person is degraded into an inhuman object. This is cursing, damning, the opposite of being blessed.

Humans do this to other humans. God created us to be blessed. But fear, hatred, greed, and lies force us to do the unthinkable to each other. We have the power to change this. This battle is not easy. It's been around for thousands of years. It doesn't make it right or give us an excuse to quit.

We have it in each of us to restore what has been broken.
